Drone FAQs
What is a UAV drone?
A drone is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that uses a ground control station and radio connection to operate. It’s used to create imagery of actionable data for the benefit of the client.
Are there different types of drones?
Yes - rotary drones have helicopter-type blades, while fixed wing drones resemble planes. Precision Land Service has experience with both fixed wing and rotary drones. Some images below were taken from recent missions.
How can a drone help your business?
Drone operations are particularly effective for missions that are dangerous, dull, or inaccessible. By using a drone, human lives are not put at risk and continuous operations are possible. Operations with drones often cost less than using manned aircraft.
